My 2nd cake exchange with Ann Marie went pretty much the same as the 1st. So how do i make this review more fabulous??? mmm…i can’t…it’s impossible. I would have to scour the dictionary for more adjectives… The baby shower cake was just AMAZING people. The colors were vibrant and spot on. The “blue velvet” cake was TO DIE FOR…people literally wanted to take TOO MUCH home… one would have been left for the expectant parents to have for themselves. The baby and the crown were so realistic it was downright creepy…but in a GREAT way. The overall design of the PRINCE/WINTER WONDERLAND cake was PERFECT. WELL DONE Ann Marie…WELL DONE Mi Lady. By the way…baby boy Dylan is adorable and healthy and mom is doing just fine. Thank you for making the shower that much more special with your creation.

The cake was fabulous! Extremely moist and flavorful! I could smell the goodness before I even tasted it. The design was immaculately done to perfection! Raving reviews from our guests! The mom adored the keepsakes. WoW! I’m still talking about it.

BEST CAKE EVER!! I am a baker of sorts myself, and a bit fussy when it comes to others baked goods. This was my second time having one of Ann Marie’s cakes and it won’t be my last! ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! Yep…that’s what i have to say about my experience with “Cake Lady Ann Marie”. From beginning to delivery of the cake…Ann Marie was a true professional, helpful, insightful, fair with pricing, and met me halfway (LITERALLY), from The Bronx, NY to Putnam County. The cake was RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING looking and tasted out of this world. I looooove the sweetness of it. The design…WOW! I can’t find enough descriptive words for the cake. Which I sure do hope she displays on her website…because it is worthy. The client was extremely pleased with her 40th Birthday cake… each and every piece was done with skill and love. Nuff’ said.

I ordered my daughter’s cake for her baby shower from Ann Marie. It far exceeded my expectations !!!! The cake was stunning to look at and tasted even better !!! EVERYONE loved it and we are still eating it almost 2 weeks later and it still tastes amazing !! The top of the cake is a keepsake and is now in the nursery looking super cute. A MILLION THANKS TO ANN MARIE. Best cake maker ever !!!

Thank you for making me the most amazing birthday cake ever!! My very own Coach handbag that I wanted to walk away with on my arm. The cake was the biggest highlight of the night! I never could have imagined anything better. The detail and design was on point. It was so beautiful I couldn’t watch them cut it, but once we ate it, that all went away. The cake was absolutely mouth watering! You are truly an artist!! Thank you for making my surprise 40th birthday so special!! We cannot wait for you to make our next cake!!

I ordered 2 cakes for 2 friends with birthdays days apart. One was 60 y.o. and the other 70. The cakes were both different in shapes, sheet cake vs. round,and the designs were incredible! The round cake was a musical extradionnaire! It was the talk of the table and was taken home as the plan was. The other cake had sunflowers that were unbelievable! And pictures were taken before the cutting. These were the best cakes ever!! Thank you so much.

I ordered my daughter’s first birthday cake from Ann Marie and I was very pleased. Ann Marie somehow was able to create exactly what I was looking for from photos of multiple cakes and my somewhat confusing description. The cake was delicious too. Guests were impressed that such a beautiful cake tasted so good.

A few weeks later and we are still hearing rave reviews about the cake – looks and taste. The cake was beautiful, delicious and fantastic. A few people mentioned that it was the best cake they had seen and eaten. The latest from a friend who said “I never eat desserts at affairs, but this was so good I had two pieces”. A million thanks to you for adding your artistry which helped make our party all we wanted it to be. Thanks again for the masterpiece.

I really can’t say enough about the whole cake buying experience with Ann Marie. From working out the design (I liked one of hers, and had found other designs I liked online, and she took it one step further, to the delivery, to the taste, there isn’t one part of the process I’d change. People at the party loved the look of the cake and couldn’t stop commenting on how good it tasted! I would use Ann Marie again or recommend her without hesitation.

Based on a friend’s recommendation, we asked Ann Marie to make us a LEGO themed wedding cake. She was extremely enthusiastic about our concept and worked very closely with us to make our idea real. The cake turned out AMAZING!!! Not only did Ann Marie capture the look we wanted, all three layers of the cake (chocolate with vanilla filling, vanilla with chocolate filling, and carrot cake with cream cheese filling) were absolutely delicious! Our guests, including our caterers (led by a Culinary Institute of America trained chef), raved about it, and we all were left wanting more. I highly recommend Ann Marie and would work with her again, if given the chance!

I had tea party for my daughter’s 4th birthday party. I wanted a tea pot cake and tea cup cupcakes. I really didn’t have any idea what I was looking for but Ann Marie did and what she came up with was amazing, beautiful, and delicious. I have never seen work as amazing as what she can create. It was perfect. At the party we ate all of the cupcakes but the tea pot was so beautiful that it took me 3 days before I could cut it because my entire family couldn’t stop looking at its perfection!!!!

Dear Ann Marie…Thank you for our spectacular wedding cake. It was a delicious work of art! Thank you for the cake topper. We have it preserved in the freezer and we hope it makes it to our 1st anniversary without being eaten! LOL! You are a master!

Ann Marie’s cakes are not only beautiful to look at they taste wonderful!!! She did a excellent job with a theme cake order by my family for my 50th birthday party. I would highly recommend her baking and decorating skills!

The cake you made for my sister-in-law’s Wizard of Oz themed party was truly a work of art! First we want to thank you for your role in making our November 2, 2013 wedding in Poughkeepsie the most special day of our lives. Your wedding cake was exquisite. A “Mad Hatter” themed top hat cake topped with mice in a tea cup that looked just like us! From the cake design to the intricate details on the playing cards, pocket watch, and other Alice In Wonderland themed items, this was an absolute work of art! Best of all, the wedding cake and the accompanying cupcakes tasted wonderfully! You are fabulous and I would recommend you to anyone!

I recently ordered a cake from Ann Marie for my daughter’s Sweet 16 party. I was so impressed with alll of her attention to detail and its overall presentation. My daughter chose the Mocha with chocolate chip filling which was outstanding. Thank you Ann Marie!!!

I have used Ann Marie’s services on several occasions. Her attention to detail and and customer service is unparallel. The cakes have been both delectable and, quite frankly, pieces of art. Our favorite is the lady bug cake with the sunflower cupcakes. The ladybug was so perfect it looked as though it was a toy! We will continue to count on Ann Marie to make our special moments even sweeter. Highly recommended!

Ann Marie made a magnificent cake for my friend Steve’s retirement from the U.S. Marine Corp and the Veterans Administration. The cake had the VA logo on top and Steve’s name plus “Uh Rah” the Marine chant, on the side. To say that the entire cake looked like museum quality art is the understatement of the century. To say that it was lip smacking delicious to eat was beyond the previous understatement. Ann Marie is a fabulous artist and baker and it a delight to work with her. She was patient and very accommodating with all of my requests. Also, her price was much less than I would have expected, given the final product. Ann Marie added much flavor (ha ha ha) to Steve’s great party. I highly recommend her to everyone and anyone.

Ann Marie, a million thanks for the best cake I ever had (seriously!)!!!! It is so delicious and I will be eating the leftovers all week. Everyone loved it and was amazed at its beauty.

We ordered a cake from Ann Marie for our soon to be daughter in law’s shower. My son and his fiance had made owls their “logo” for the wedding, so I asked Ann Marie if she could make owl cake toppers. Her cake was amazing!!! When she delivered it, people spent 15 minutes just walking round and round the table looking at it and taking pictures! She included so many wonderful little special touches! It was truly a personalized work of art. And when we served it, people were amazed at how delicious it was! It was simply the tastiest cake I have eaten in a long, long time! We will be ordering cakes for our sons’ graduations this May, and for all of our special events in the future! Thank you, Ann Marie!

The images of beautifully decorated cakes on Ann Marie’s web pages were just too much for me to ignore. So, when I ordered a birthday cake for my husband, I knew the cake would be a feast for the eyes, Ann Marie’s cakes are an art form, but I was totally unprepared for the amazingingly delicious flavor of the cake itself; unbelievably good! Ann Marie delivered the cake exactly when she said she would – it was stunning to look at and freshly baked and iced. The cake turned out to be my husband’s favorite birthday gift, and he has already asked me to be sure to remember to order again for him next year:)

My son LOVES Thomas the Tank so we wanted to get him a Thomas cake for his birthday. To say I was happy with the cake is an understatement. It was AMAZING! The detail that was put into it just made us aware of how much Ann Marie cares about her cakes. Ann Marie was so easy to work with and she knew what I wanted immediately. Everyone at the party thought the cake was the star of the show. The only problem I had was… I couldn’t stop eating it…. delicious. I can’t wait to order my next cake!

I was lucky enough to order a cake from Ann Marie. Even though I had seen her work I was still so amazed at the cake she made for my daughter’s birthday. It was a beach theme with such great detail. From the beautiful seashells to the nail polish on the little girls toes that also happen to have my daughter’s features. I couldn’t believe that all the decorations were not only beautifully hand made but they were edible too. The cake itself was also absolutely delicious and very affordable. I will definitely use Ann Marie again for my next event.

I ordered cupcakes for a princess theme party. I loved them and so did all the guests! They not only were great tasting but looked great! I would highly recommend Ann Marie’s cakes and definitely will order them again!
